About us:
Stegra is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. Industrial Electrician
Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive and corrective electrical repairs and maintenance in low and medium voltage.

• Collaborate with operators, technicians, and other production personnel to communicate improvements.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues using tests, technical diagrams, and blueprints.

• Program and configure electrical control systems.

• Inspect transformers, circuit breakers, and other electrical components.

• Repair and replace equipment, electrical wiring, and fixtures.

• Contribute to the optimization of maintenance programs.

• Train and guide operators in maintenance tasks.

• Evaluate the need for spare parts for the equipment.

• Ensure safe working conditions with Lock Out-Tag Out procedures during repairs.

• Maintain good housekeeping standards and a safe work environment together with the team.

Qualifications:

• Experience within the steel production industry is highly sought.

• Good command of English; Swedish is a plus.

• Ability to work independently and accurately.

• Ability to work on rotating shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Three years electrical gymnasium.

• An understanding of industrial automation systems (preferably Siemens or Honeywell).

• Documented qualifications in workplace environment and safety.

• Knowledge of Swedish and EU safety codes.
