We are now looking for a Researcher to build and transfer technology competence to ensure technology leadership and profitable business for Ericsson by:

• Supplying to Ericsson research activities
• Developing novel concepts, solutions and algorithms with emphasizes on machine learning and processing paradigms.
• Communicating research result by showing prototypes, concept demonstrations, preparing publications and patent applications.

What you will do:

• Take part of a funded industrial Ph D in the area of artificial intelligence (AI) involving Federated spiking neural network solutions within e.g. Extended Reality (XR).
• Design and extend neural network solutions to strengthen established infrastructure for ML and AI applications e.g. smartphone and XR devices. Preferably in the areas of federated learning and spiking neural networks.
• Investigate, experiment, and study emerging XR solutions to improve, and understand the new eco systems within consumer and industry.
• Create new technical solutions and protect them with Intellectual Property Rights (IPR).
• Engage with AI and ML experts across Sweden and participate in innovation workshops to come up with new concepts.
• Opportunities to participate in impactful collaborations with both industries and internationally top-ranked universities.

The skills you bring:

• MSc with work experience relevant to above tasks or similar experience from industry.
• Background in AI/ML algorithms, and experience in working with development frameworks like Python/Py Torch.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python or C++.
• Solid analytical skills and ability to acquire new knowledge.
• Outstanding communication and presentation skills in written and spoken English.
