A place where we meet, exchange ideas, create and challenge the status-quo in a fun and flexible way
Do you want to be one of the Interns in our Ericsson Innovation Lab?
Interested in working part time, during your studies, as an Intern at the Ericsson Innovation Lab our Innovation Incubator and demo space as part of the Kista Innovation Park (KIP)?
What you will do:
Main tasks for our interns will be to participate in Innovation projects and demo events, as well make ideas come to life. As an intern you will spend 1-3 days a week onsite in the Kista Innovation Park in Stockholm where you will be part of a small team consisting of other interns, Ericsson Innovators, and external partners. We gather and drive smaller Proof of Concept activities, build mockups and demo objects that might move further into product development. We work in teams with a startup/agile setup where all are empowered to contribute, share, grow and succeed.
Our KIP is an arena where we foster innovation, explore, and collaborate with external parties such as Academia and other external companies. KIP projects are early phase concept projects with the goal to educate the public as well explore technology possibilities outside its borders.
Examples of areas for ongoing projects:

Io T for Smart City, Sustainability, and remote monitoring - Explore AI/ML opportunities
- 5G Race Cars setup and project extension
- Robotics
- Investigate new 5G Use cases
- Various AR, VR and XR applications and use cases
The skills you bring:
-
Students with that “Maker Space Gene” - Interested in early demo and proof of concept development
- Interest and capability to work in startup company fashion
- Keen on Io T and connect everything that might benefit from being connected
- Interest in Automation, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Virtual Reality, User Interface, Linux, Networking
- Development and hacking experience playing with hardware (Arduino or Raspberry Pie etc.)
- Learn and build mockups and MVPs (Minimal Viable Products)
- Genuine interest in working with people, team player, sharing ideas and feedbacks
- B.Sc., M.Sc. students (min. year 2), D, IT, Y, I, U, Media Tek
