Your Mission:

From day one, you will dive into our global product development, leading the creation of new products. In your first months, you will take global lead for a product area or brand, shaping a product roadmap and refining prototypes.
Next, you will lead all aspects of launching new products globally, ensuring they meet high standards and resonate with consumers. Your role will be vital in bringing these products to market and standing out in the competitive landscape.
You will then drive significant growth in our product portfolio, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth production transitions and scaling.

Key responsibilities include:

World-Class Product Development

• Lead Global Product Development: Oversee the full product lifecycle, ensuring top-tier standards.
• Recipe Refinement: Develop and enhance recipes focused on flavor, quality ingredients, and nutrition.
• Prototype Creation: Lead prototype development and adjust formulations as needed.
• Sensory Evaluation: Conduct taste tests to ensure exceptional sensory qualities.
• Thorough Documentation: Keep detailed records of recipe development and ingredient specs.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Collaborative Approach: Work closely with packaging, production, and sourcing teams for cohesive development.
  
• Scale-Up Support: Collaborate with sourcing teams to scale production and solve technical challenges.

Project Management and Drive

• Global Expansion: Lead efforts that drive Vitamin Well's, NOCCO's and Barebell's global growth.
• Project Oversight: Manage projects from start to finish, meeting timelines and KPIs.
• Proactive Problem-Solving: Tackle issues swiftly to maintain momentum and improve continuously.

Who Are You:

As an experienced product development professional and recognized expert in creating functional foods, beverages, dairy, bars, or snacks, you are eager to apply your extensive expertise and skills in an exciting, dynamic environment.

To Succeed You bring With You:

• Product Development Expertise: Experience (most likely +6 years) as the lead product developer for functional foods, dairy, bars, snacks, or beverages, overseeing products from concept to successful market launch.
• Innovative Recipe Development: Proven ability to create and refine recipes, optimising for flavour, ingredients, and nutrition in the functional food and beverage sector.
• Project Leadership: Strong track record of managing product development projects successfully and meeting KPIs.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exceptional skills in collaborating with packaging, production, and sourcing teams specific to functional foods and beverages.
• Scale-Up Coordination: Experience in, from a product development perspective, scaling up production, and resolving technical challenges.
• Strategic Thinking: Capable of driving global expansion and growth initiatives in the functional food and beverage industry.
• Stakeholder Management: Excellent at managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders in the functional food and beverage space.
