Lead Instrument Engineer

About the Department
Within the Industrial Karlstad department, approximately 50 skilled employees specialize in Electrical, Instrument and Automation Engineering, Process Engineering, and Plant Engineering. We often work in project groups with comprehensive commitments covering all our technical areas, offering expert assistance to our customers in planning, designing, and optimizing various types of industrial facilities and energy systems. Our primary focus is on projects within the process industry, where we act as close partners to our clients. The department also collaborates extensively with other divisions within the industrial division, including our process engineers, to provide impactful solutions to our customers. About the Position
In this role, you will become part of our global team of experts and work closely with other colleagues, project managers, and project leaders. Your main task in the team is to contribute to high quality within the instrumentation and automation discipline in our industrial clients' projects.
Your daily tasks will include:

- Designing control and regulation systems
- Creating functional descriptions
- Fieldbus technology
- Installations in ATEX environments
- Creating specifications for field instrumentation
- Participating in commissioning in the field. Travel with overnight stays may occur in connection with this.

To be suitable for the position of Instrument Engineer, you also need:
- A relevant engineering degree from a university or university college
- At least three years of experience in similar tasks to those required for this role, preferably from another consulting engineering company
- Fluent spoken and written Swedish and English
