Material Handler Inbound & Outbound

Material Handler is responsible for physically handling of incoming and outbound materials, reagents, instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations. Control and handling of goods is done in accordance with current procedures and rules.
All moves are made to existing transactions in our business system (SAP)
Material Handler is also responsible for maintaining good inventory. See too that all documentation and received goods is handled with high level of control and excellent execution in a timely manner.

The Inbound and Outbound Material Handler is responsible for physically handling of incoming and outgoing materials, reagents, instruments or equipment to meet customer expectations. That control and handling of goods is done in accordance with our current procedures and rules. Material Handler is also responsible for maintaining a perfect inventory. See too that all documentation and received goods is handled with high level of control and excellent execution in a timely manner.

This position is part of the logistics department and will be located in Solna, Stockholm, Sweden. At Cepheid, our vision is to be the leading provider of seamlessly connected diagnostic solutions.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Physical goods receiving and arrival control.
Plasticizing of pallets and physical picking of goods and loading of trucks
Communicate and interact with other departments internal and external.
Ensuring correct orders are received and put away in time.
Keep warehouse areas 5S and audit ready at all time.

The essential requirements of the job include:

High school degree (or equivalent experience) with 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
Ability to work well under pressure and handle deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
You have an ease and previous experience and knowledge of working in computer systems
Strong team player, open minded and able to adapt to changing work processes.
Ability to work day/evenings and weekends.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Forklift driving license (TLP10) and experience of driving forklifts.
Knowledge of dangerous goods (ADR), Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and SAP.
