Product Technologist / Produktutvecklare

How will you contribute?
You will work with the development of new products in the chocolate and candy category. Main brands are Cloetta Juleskum, Ahlgrens Bilar, Tupla, Center, Plopp and Kexchoklad. In collaboration with Marketing, you produce the best project briefs and are responsible for ensuring the development and implementation in our factory, within the set schedule. Your main stakeholders are marketers and colleagues in quality and production. In the product development work, you are also expected to have close cooperation with our suppliers, third-party manufacturers and relevant actors in the food industry. Our projects are run in project systems to create structure and follow-up. You report to the Innovation Manager based in Ljungsbro.
Your duties will mainly be to:
- Develop and deliver new products (NPD) to generate future profitable growth for the category
- Build new knowledge in line with the category strategy
- Support ideas and concepts, and translate new consumer insights into innovative product solutions
- Build a professional network with internal and external stakeholders, including supplier contacts
- Implement Product Portfolio Management projects driven by consumer and CSR relevance
- A university degree at master’s level or equivalent work experience in (bio)chemical engineering, industrial chemistry or food science.
- At least 3 years’ work experience in the food industry. Experience from the chocolate or confectionery industry is advantageous.
- Proven experience of independently participating in multidisciplinary product development projects with short deadlines preferred.
