About the role
Your key responsibilities include:

• Driving and developing our sustainability program in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Integrating sustainability commitments into the business, together with the team leaders of the sustainability initiatives, particularly with Supply & Operations, Procurement, Innovation and Marketing.
• Setting KPIs and monitoring progress against Cloetta’s sustainability commitments.
• Helping to ensure the organization stays up to date on latest trends and demands; proactively recommend initiatives or solutions.
• Partnering with business teams to ‘commercialize sustainability’ and win with customers and consumers.
• Educating and engaging our employees and senior leaders to build knowledge and capability on sustainability.
• Ensuring the commercial teams have the required information for Cloetta’s customers.

Together with your manager, you will act as Cloetta’s external spokesperson for sustainability matters.
You will be part of an international team with colleagues in several Cloetta locations. You will work closely with the Sustainability Reporting & Compliance Specialist, also based in Stockholm. Cloetta believes sustainability should be embedded throughout the organization by experts in the field based on the vision and strategy developed by the sustainability team. As such, this role does not have direct reports.
You will report to the Marketing & Sustainability Director based in Breda (The Netherlands). Travel abroad about 4 times a year.
We believe that you have:

• Around 5 years’ experience developing and implementing sustainability strategies, either in-house or with a consulting firm. Proven experience of creating sustainability impact in business.
• Proven financial understanding and the ability to come up with solutions.
• Strong business experience, preferably within FMCG.
• The ability to influence and interact with the most senior levels in the organisation.
• Good knowledge across a wide range of the sustainability topic relevant for Cloetta, like Climate Action, Sustainable Sourcing, Biodiversity, Human and labour rights in supply chain etc.
• Strong communicating & presentation skills, and the ability to win people over.
• Master’s degree in a relevant field is desirable.
• Advanced skills in the MS Office pack.
