Are you a finance professional who is motivated by working with customer projects? Do you enjoy working close to business and can offer high quality financial support to maximize financial performance?

We are looking for a temporary Project Controller to join the EMEA Scandinavia Finance team.

You will have an important role in both supporting and challenging the project management in very complex international projects but also support the production unit located in Gothenburg. There will be many points of contact since you will be working with many other controllers, project managers, production managers and others. We look for a person who is flexible, likes new challenges and is motivated by being part of all improvements that we aim for.

Your main responsibilities are:

Project portfolio follow up and participating in project reviews
Business partner to project managers and production management
Monthly closings and reporting
Budget and Forecast work
Ad hoc reports and cost controlling

What is expected from You?

High degree of personal drive, with the initiative to solve problems systematically
Ability to adapt quickly changing business models and processes
Strong technical finance background with analytical skills
Good team working and communication skills
Over 3 years of experience in finance and/or controlling roles
Bachelor´s or Master´s degree in Finance, Industrial Management or relevant field
Fluent in English and Swedish
Experience from working with complex customer delivery projects is a merit

The Scandinavia Finance team has currently 5 members in the main Valmet locations in Sweden (Gothenburg, Karlstad and Sundsvall) and the team collaborates closely with colleagues in Finance across EMEA area, Global Financial Operations as well as other finance and business stakeholders.

This is a temporary position for one year during parental leave. It starts in December 2024.
