What you’ll do in your role
All our roles at BTS are asked to do three things – develop client relationships, design solutions and deliver our programmes. In the senior consultant position, there is an increased focus on business development within the client relationship space with sales targets attached to each position. We also have high expectations about creativity, innovative solutions and increasingly this means about how we best utilise digital solutions in our work.
Within the Leadership Center of Expertise, you will:

Identify strategic business opportunities and convert these into sales through the assessment of clients’ needs, understanding the BTS offerings, the development of proposals and the communication of these offerings to clients.
Develop new solutions by working in teams or alone. Effective design skills are critical to our future. We really customize solutions to our client’s unique context, so we need adept architects of learning experiences. We also need designers to be able to create solutions that can be scaled and delivered globally (senior consultant and director).
Deliver authentic, engaging, interactive and impactful facilitation of programs to global audiences that positions BTS as the best in the market (senior consultant and director).

You’ll do all this with leaders from some of the world’s leading corporations - Global 100 and 500 companies. You’ll learn how their business works and what their strategies are, and you’ll often be shaping the leadership capabilities of their senior management.
You’ll also be expected to lead others as the lead within our internal client teams. You’ll take responsibility for the learning and professional growth of the teams that work with you.
Variety is key in all our roles. You’ll work on multiple projects at one time, across different industries, and with different internal teams. Much of our work is virtual, but there is also significant travel. You may be required to travel for up to 50% of the time.

The rest of your time is spent creating the amazing experiences we provide for our clients. Interviewing leaders, conducting research and analysis and testing programs. You’ll laugh a lot and have a lot of fun. And this is all done in a team-based setting where our entrepreneurial culture of freedom and responsibility empowers you to contribute from your first day.
Who we are looking for
You’ll be an experienced L&D professional, with strong experience in designing, developing and delivering solutions to a range of audiences. Strong experience of presenting and facilitating to a room with 200+ smart, eager people in it is a must – virtually and in person. You'll be curious, creative, collaborative and credible. You'll bring an executive presence and sense of gravitas built on significant experience in a consulting or corporate environment. You may well have proven experience of business development, although we will help you to grow this, and have a naturally consultative approach to sales.
You’ll also have experience of managing and leading others. You know how to get the best out of people and how to inspire confidence and pride in work. You can give useful, timely and constructive feedback.
Able to communicate effectively with everyone you meet, you'll be skilled in leveraging a variety of communication channels, especially those requiring digital architecture.

Location and languages:

Fluency in Swedish and English is a must, but additional fluency in any of our European operating languages would be a huge benefit – namely French, Norwegian, Dutch, German.
We just moved in to a brand new office in Stockholm, Sweden and we prefer that you are based here. Some of our delivery work for consultants remains virtual but we also travel for some client deliveries.
