Senior Data Engineer

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Job Summary:
- We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join the Team Data Product Engineering. This data engineering team works to bridge the gap between data producers and consumers, focusing on enhancing efficiency in crafting data products through streamlined processes. The mission is to deliver business goals with general-purpose data engineering solutions and methodologies, aligning best practices from both the company and the industry.
- Strong proficiency in Python for data manipulation, analysis, and building data pipelines.
- Expertise in using Apache Spark for large-scale data processing and analytics.
- Proficient in leveraging Azure cloud services for deploying data solutions and managing resources.
- Experienced in using Bash for scripting and automating tasks in Unix/Linux environments.
- Experience in containerizing applications using Docker for consistent development and deployment.
- Familiar with Delta Lake for managing data lakes with ACID transactions and schema enforcement.
- Hands-on experience in using Github version control, collaboration, and CI/CD integration and implementing CI/CD practices to automate testing and deployment processes.
- Skilled in using Databricks for collaborative data engineering and Snowflake for cloud data warehousing.
- Knowledgeable in designing efficient data models to support analytics and reporting needs.
- Familiar with Git Ops methodologies for managing deployments and Dev Ops practices to enhance collaboration between development and operations teams.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
