Data Engineer

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
Job Summary:
- As a Data Engineer, you will strengthen our Data Delivery function within the area of Data & Analytics. You will play a key role in the success of data product deliveries in the bank. Working in one of our agile Data Delivery teams, you will develop new and maintain existing data integration into our Informatica-based data platform. The Data Engineer will collaborate closely with the Scrum Master, Product Owner, Business Intelligence Architect, Data Analyst, and business stakeholders.
- 5+ yrs of development experience using Informatica Power Center on data warehouses or data marts.
- Strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts and experience designing data warehouse solutions.
- Proficient in writing complex SQL and PL/SQL code.
- Experience working with various databases and file formats such as CSV, XML, and JSON.
- Familiarity with analytical tools or scripting languages (e.g., Python) for file/data handling is a plus.
- Experience in the Banking domain is strongly desired.
- Experience in implementing and analyzing data quality issues effectively.
- Strong communication skills in English and ability to collaborate across teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
