Do you want a role where you get to work with indirect category buying, in an international setting and develop a broad cross-functional network? Join our Strategic Global Sourcing team at Atlas Copco Industrial Technique AB as a Strategic Category Buyer for Indirect Materials and Services. In the role you will support our factory in Tierp with various indirect purchases, including investments, MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), facility management, tools, temporary labor, and more.


Your job responsibilities are including, but not limited to, the following:

• Act as a trusted advisor in the sourcing process, guiding supplier negotiations and ongoing projects.
• Collaborate with internal teams to define requirements, identify vendors, lead RFx processes, and evaluate suppliers.
• Lead a range of saving projects, from transactional to complex services.
• Develop and manage category strategies and supplier relationships.
• Optimize key relationships across the business to leverage best practices and efficiencies.
• Achieve annual savings according to the agreed sourcing plan and project pipeline.

You will report to the Global Category Manager Indirect Materials and Services.


Who are you?
We believe that you have experience from the manufacturing industry or similar technical industry. You have experience and understanding of category management, supplier relationship development, contracting, and negotiation for indirect materials and services. You build trustful relationships and partner with internal and external stakeholders. You are proficient in English, both written and spoken. A bachelor’s or master’s degree, or equivalent experience, is required.


Additionally, you have communication and interaction skills, are capable of handling cross-functional tasks while maintaining a focus on results. We value proactivity, accountability, open-mindedness, and problem-solving approach.

Location
Tierp, Sweden but for the right candidate Stockholm with continuous travels to Tierp can be an option.
