About us:
Stegra, formerly known as H2 Green Steel, is on a mission to disrupt the global steel industry by producing green steel, with the end goal of bringing down CO2 emissions to zero. By using green hydrogen and fossil-free electricity instead of coal; water and heat will be our primary emissions. By 2030, our ambition is to produce 5 million tonnes of green steel annually in our fully integrated, digitalized, and sustainable plant in Boden, located in northern Sweden - currently in construction phase. But this is just the beginning – our expertise in green hydrogen will enable us to decarbonize other industries in addition to steel, and we look forward to what’s next in store for us.

Responsibilities
- Ensure end-to-end VAT compliance, including preparation of VAT returns and other VAT related reports.
- Support the accounts payable and logistics team in VAT related matters, such as contracting and import of goods and services, both EU and non-EU.
- Ensure the organization to be up-to-date on changes in VAT legislations.

Support in VAT process standardization projects, such as ensuring a correct VAT set-up in our ERP system.
- Support month-end closing procedure with regards to VAT.
- Ensure internal and external control processes in the area of VAT.
- Strong experience in VAT compliance and import VAT rules.
- Knowledge of VAT regulations within and outside the EU.
- Ability to support various teams on VAT-related matters.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Fluency in Swedish.
- Interest in corporate income tax.
- Experience with the import of goods and services outside of Europe.
