ASK – All Special Kids is looking for a part-time Applied Behavior Analyst- Inclusion Specialist to work across our ABA program and Social Skills programs. The individual will work with children and young adults diagnosed with differential learning abilities. Our programs at ASK offer evidenced based interventions and focus on socially significant skills to support children and young adults with differential learning abilities to be included within their school, community and work environments.

The position:
The ABA Inclusion Specialist will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, in an exciting, innovative, and supportive environment. The individual will have primary responsibilities within the ABA and Social Skills skills programs and will contribute to the continuous development of these programs for the benefit of the participants. Important responsibilities of the role will be the delivery of direct work with participants of the program, continuous assessment, evaluation of participants’ progress, and liaising with parents/other service providers. Additionally, the ABA Inclusion Specialist will have the opportunity to work with school teams to deliver our workshop training series. There will also be specific administrative duties as assigned by the Program Psychologist.
Key Responsibilities:
● Working directly with individuals with differential learning abilities within 1:1 and small groups
● Using evidenced based practices to support learning and improvement of socially significant behaviors
● Data collection and analysis to evaluate patterns of learning
● Developing peer-mediated networks within the community to support learning and generalization of skills
● Liaising with specialists contributing to the program
● Contributing to the development of individualized person-centered plans for participants.
● Contributing to periodic reviews and reports
● Participating in continuous training and professional development.
● Delivering training workshops
● Positive Behavior Support
Essential Requirements:
● Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis or Positive Behavior Support or related field
● English and French fluency essential,
● 2 years minimum of experience working with adults or children with ASD or ADHD
● Evidence of leadership skills required
● Must have experience working within multi-disciplinary teams
