The selected candidate will join the Formulations & Materials Science department of our Sciences & Research unit.


Key Responsibilities:

• Formulation of solid and liquid product formats for cosmetics, body- and homecare,
• Study impact of formulation parameters on product stability as well as fragrance deposition and evaporation,
• Work in an interdisciplinary team with links to physical chemistry, formulation science, analytical chemistry and perfumery technical development,
• Design, plan and execute experiments, ensuring timely delivery based on established priorities,
• Ensure seamless transition from up-stream research development to final application products and deliver prototypes for testing.

• Leadership, learning, training and development plans.

You bring:

• Master or Ph D degree in chemistry or physics, formulation engineer, or equivalent,
• Experience with formulation and characterization of various application formats in the field of cosmetic, body- and/or homecare,
• Experience in analytical chemistry (e.g. GC-FID, GC-MS, HPLC),
• Knowledge in data treatment, statistics and modelling would be a plus,
• Ability to work and communicate efficiently in a multidisciplinary and international environment,
• Previous experience on applied projects or in an industry R&D laboratory would be a plus,
• Fluent in English, ability to communicate in French would be a plus.
