What you will enjoy doing

• You are an expert in the chemical industry and have a great knowledge and understanding of the industry needs
• You are familiar with the most relevant gas applications as inerting and purging, oxidation and hydrogenation reactions and water treatment
• You enjoy working together with our BUs and drive the business for more growth opportunities and have a close contact to our global teams
• In addition you will identify growth areas within the region, support with customer consultation, calculations and preparation of campaigns, align targets and joint activities to grow the segment profitable
• You like to manage the segment self-sufficient, like to interact with different cultures and hierarchies within the organization and are interested to grow your network in- and outside of the company
• Moreover you will identify market trends for new developments, represent the region in R&D projects and you will prepare commercialization concepts for new product launches together with Linde Technology and the local organizations

• You have an entrepreneurial, result driven and analytical approach and are able to manage your segment self sufficient
• Further you have relevant experience to cooperate with and manage various stakeholders across hierarchies, countries and cultures
• In this role you must have deep knowledge of the chemical industry and our applications portfolio
• Your ability to drive and to deliver against targets in time and in quality, through decision making, influencing and direct control
• Your strong communications skills, ability to effective present complex topics at all levels
• Your excellent understanding of the industrial gas business and the selling of application technology
• You perform in a competitive environment and customer landscape in the industrial gases market
• Your analytical skills are excellent, you have good project management knowledge, you are structured and data driven
• You possess a university level degree in Business Technology (engineering, chemical technology)
• Furthermore, you have a minimum of eight (8) years relevant working experience
• Your English and German is business fluent (additional language is a plus)
