In the frame of the growth of our business, we are looking for a:

Clinical Data Science Intern

Once a clinical study is completed, the database becomes part of the internal library, it’s integration and posterior analysis is the basis to strategize the plan of action to design future trials. The implementation of adequate tools to achieve this is of paramount importance, as it will directly impact its development plan and future maintenance.
Within the Data Management & Analytics department and reporting to the Clinical Data Scientist, you will explore the different approaches and appraise their pros and cons, as well as the different tools that can be developed and implemented, by applying them to data from clinical studies.
Main activities

Develop a strategy of data transformation to improve the cleaning and the normalization process
Automatize the data transformation and merging process
Collaborate with team members to understand the visualization needs
Desing and implement a new app to automate the dashboard and reports process
Document all development with user guides to ensure the projects continuity
Presentation of results in a clear manner adapted to the target audience

Your profile

Scientific University, EPF or HES degree
Knowledge of programming languages (R, Python, SQL, …)
Knowledge of a Business Intelligence tool would be a plus (SAS, is a big plus)
Spirit of synthesis, curiosity, excellent organizational and analytical/problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and in collaboration
Fluency in French and English
