Project / Role:
For our customer from the finance industry in Bern, we are looking for a cloud architect for planning and designing cloud architectures with different characteristics (from the cloud, service-based) at the company, process, service and information level, taking into account cost-effectiveness, quality and feasibility.
Main tasks:

• Identifying clients’ needs and expectations regarding cloud systems and their architectures.
• Development of solution proposals and decision-making bases based on the recorded requirements.
• Design and continuous updating of technical components in Go and Terraform according to the cloud strategy, taking into account business goals and economic efficiency in the Azure environment.
• Consulting in software projects and application development processes regarding cloud architectures.
• Enforcement and implementation of quality standards related to cloud architectures.
• Planning and conducting design reviews of the technical components and their architecture within the team.

Requirements:

• 12 years of experience as a cloud architect
• Knowledge of the cloud environment and strong interest in expanding know-how, knowledge of orchestration solutions.
• Knowledge of business, administrative and control processes as well as compliance, changes in business through ICT, competitive situation in the industry in which the activity is carried out.
• Expertise in architectures, ICT business administration, business & requirements engineering, data management/data engineering, information security, ICT management.
• Experienced in project management, quality management, risk management, service/design.
• Ability to abstract, design & problem solving, communication (including assertiveness & persuasiveness), self-management/leadership of oneself.
