The Position
As part of our Marketing & Healthcare Transformation Cluster, you will play a vital role in providing the basis to generate market and customer segment insights for strategies and priorities to serve patients and our customers.


As our Data Insights Lead, your primary objective is to enable market & customer insights generation through setting up and maintaining a high quality data infrastructure that ultimately supports data-driven recommendations for RDCH's sustainable growth and healthcare system impact.

  • Oversee data availability across systems (CRM, SAP, etc.) to ensure high-quality data collection for market and customer insights, map the data landscape, and advise on data architecture
  • Establish and maintain standardized data collection and data quality processes across departments, defining data ownership within RDCH
  • Apply statistical and analytical methods to identify trends, patterns, and outliers in data, providing valuable insights visually to inform business decisions
  • Implement global tools and features locally to enhance insights, ensure tool integration, and automate processes across the tool landscape
  • Work closely with other Insights functions, Roche affiliates, and global/regional teams to provide business-relevant insights
  • Act as a trusted expert and thought leader, driving key strategic decisions across the organization with data-based market and customer insights
  • Maintain an overview of trends in AI-driven organizational effectiveness, plan implementation, contribute to change management, and lead or contribute to RDCH initiatives that shape current workflows

Who you are
  • At least 3 years of experience working with customer data to influence business outcomes, with proficiency in data architecture, automated processes, and data modeling
  • Expertise in statistical data analysis, predictive modeling (Excel, Python, SQL), and proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI), including dashboard design
  • Ability to explain complex data insights simply, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and lateral leadership with change management experience
  • Master's degree in relevant fields (scientific, digital, economic, or business); an MBA or advanced Data engineering degree is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the in-vitro Diagnostic business and the Swiss Healthcare System, with fluency in German or French and English
