Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a Systems Identification Engineer to act as a Digital Solution Engineering Specialist for implementing our cutting-edge digital products focused on data-driven process optimization. As demand grows for our digital operation and analytic solutions, we need an expert in system identification to help drive innovation and enhance industrial process efficiency. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Energy Industries division in Switzerland. You will be mainly accountable for: • Validate and develop dynamic system models based on operational data to support process optimization. • Design and implement advanced algorithms to optimize industrial processes with our digital operation and analytics frameworks. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate models and algorithms into real-world industrial applications. • Provide technical expertise and insights to enhance the development and implementation of our digital solutions.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s degree or Master's degree in Control Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with 2+ years of experience.
Proficiency in mathematical modeling and system analysis.
Strong programming skills in MATLAB, Python, or C.
Excellent data analysis abilities to identify system parameters and optimize performance.
Fluency in English and strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy; familiarity with SCADA, PLCs, or industrial systems is a plus.
