FIFA Fan Festival Manager - Freelancer
Join the team as a freelancer and support us on our mission.
THE POSITION
- Collaborate with the Project Lead to define the project scope, goals, and development strategy for FIFA Fan Festival events
- Support the creation and management of agreements, guidelines, and contracts with key project stakeholders
- Manage relationships with local stakeholders, including Host Cities and/or Event Licensees, as well as Commercial Partners (CPs), Media Right Licensees, agencies and others
- Oversee the planning, design, and operational execution of the FIFA Fan Festival, ensuring all technical, branding, and infrastructure requirements are met
- Coordinate project management activities, including workshops, site inspections, and meetings with relevant parties
- Ensure compliance with FIFA’s event marks and manage the approval process for all branding and logo usage
- Monitor and report on project progress, proactively managing changes in scope, identifying risks, and implementing contingency plans when needed

The specific competencies we require for this position are:
- Strong team player with excellent social, communication, and diplomatic skills
- Commercial qualification in marketing, hospitality, or event management
- Proven experience in managing large-scale international events, preferably in the sports sector
- Experience working with governments, sports authorities, and contract management
- Highly organized with a focus on quality and the ability to work under pressure
- Ability to represent the organization confidently in multicultural settings
- Quick to adapt to new tasks with high flexibility
- General interest in sport, football, lifestyle, culture, and music
- Fluent in English; other languages (e.g. Portuguese) are a plus
- Proficient in MS Office and event management tools
- Willingness to Travel
