Football Data Project Coordinator (Freelancer)

THE POSITION

These are your key tasks:

Support the Football Technology and Data team with the collection and delivery of football data at FIFA tournaments
Monitor the progress of Football Data projects and provide updates
Organise the relevant meetings and communication channels with Football Data stakeholders, including preparing agendas, minutes and follow-up actions.
Maintain the project requirements and delivery plans on Azure Dev Ops
Maintain the internal football data team task list on Microsoft Planner
Draft high-level delivery reports on the advancement of projects, risks and decisions
Propose and set-up alternative or additional project management workflows to optimise delivery
Support tournament operations, including monitoring live and post-match football data delivery and troubleshooting any issue that arises
Assist in drafting and proofreading emails, communications, reports, and other documents
Assist in submitting internal administrative requests such as translation, procurement or IT service desk requests
Draft and maintain documentation of digital platforms and programmes developed by Football Technology and Data

The specific competencies we require for this position are:

Bachelor’s degree or similar higher education in business administration or project management
3-5 years of experience in as project manager or scrum master in technology or data projects, ideally in the sports industry
Experience in the football industry is an advantage
Good understanding of the football game as a football consumer (TV viewer, sports digital platforms, in-stadium experience)
Fluent in English
Proficiency in any other language (French, Spanish, German, Arabic, Portuguese, Russian) is an advantage
Excellent command of Microsoft Office products (Word, Power Point, Excel, TEAMS, Planner)
Experience with Azure Dev Ops is an advantage
Readiness to work almost exclusively remotely
Willingness to travel occasionally
