The Opportunity
At Roche, our Finance Centers of Excellence have led the way in breaking down silos, removing hierarchies, and working in new ways. We are looking for individuals who display the Finance Mindset & Behaviors, and will support a living organism that will leverage the business knowledge and financial expertise of the network to deliver exceptional results for Finance and Roche.

To further strengthen our network, we are looking for a candidate who will focus primarily on the following activities for the Roche Diagnostics Division:
  • Analyze P&L and Balance Sheet performance across the Diagnostics Division, regions, and affiliates to identify key performance drivers, and present consolidated financial results to senior leaders.
  • Partner with DIA Strategic Finance on various deliverables, including RRM and DLT presentations, MOs and T0, with strong focus on Cash Flow/NOA controlling.
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations and Strategic Finance to develop financial narratives and contribute to Roche Finance reports for half-year and year-end closures.
  • Serve as a member of the Financial Insights and Reporting team (FIRE) to achieve group deliverables representing the Diagnostics Division.

Who you are
As a member of the e Co E, you will bring a strong technical expertise (relative to your experience) together with the ability to work in a self-aligning team with minimal hierarchy. You will be a catalyst for the finance transformation and work effectively as an influencer, and leaning in as coach and catalyst to the Finance network as needed. You have a passion to pilot new approaches and constructively challenge the status quo. You can tolerate ambiguity. A Bachelor degree is required, and an MA/MBA is preferred.
In addition, you bring the following skills and competencies:
  • Robust knowledge and practical experience in FP&A, Accounting and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, Google suite and SAP/SAP BW. Experience with Roche reporting applications (FINCO; DIS) is a plus.
  • End-to-end process thinking with attention to details. Proactive and hands-on. Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Business acumen, good collaboration and communication skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with and support a broad range of stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Resilient, able to meet tight deadlines and to deliver under time pressure. Entrepreneurial spirit and curiosity that is inspirational to others
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Ability to navigate through a complex, broad and diverse organization. Fluency in written and spoken English
