About the Role

Your Responsibilities

• Review and post Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable invoices as well as General Ledger entries
• Book Bank entries in the Ledger and prepare the weekly payment run
• Prepare and send to external accounting companies of the Genedata subsidiaries all relevant information necessary for the month-end close
• Prepare month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings activities in accordance with Swiss GAAP FER and US GAAP in collaboration with the Head of Accounting
• Ensure effectiveness and accuracy of all accounting tasks
• Work on projects and support management with ad-hoc reports

Skills & Experience

• Ideally knowledge of accounting principles according to Swiss GAAP FER and US GAAP
• At least 2 years work experience in an accounting department
• Very good MS Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, German a plus
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team and take initiative
