YOUR IMPACT
As Global Compensation & Benefits Specialist you will:
Support the design, implementation and maintenance of the global compensation approach for our global entities of the MSC Cargo Group (MSC, Medlog, Air Cargo, Corporate Employees, Expatriates, Login).
Based on data analytics, provide recommendations and insights from the data collected from different angles (local, regional, by department, by seniority level, etc.).
Support the department with:
- Keeping track of the global adherence to the processes and policies in place; performing research and providing reliable data for the department’s use on various requests.
- Collecting and keeping the global benefits database updated; providing analysis and recommendations to the department based on information collected.
- Keeping the Global HR policies updated, reviewing them constantly and making the necessary amendments according to the evolution of internal processes.
- Working in collaboration with Regional and Local HR managers, guiding them on the implementation and maintenance of the projects and processes of the department.
- Providing ad-hoc support and analysis for the department and/or related stakeholders.
- Lead end-to-end projects of the department, under the supervision of the Comp&Ben manager.
- Collect, compile, and keep updated salary and benefits information of the agencies, preparing reports for different stakeholders whenever requested/approved by the department.
- Identify opportunities for improving the existing processes, proposing creation and implementation of new and value-added solutions.
- Provide support to the governance process for all rewards practices (salary reviews, bonus pay-outs, etc.).
- Support the execution of the annual salary reviews, receive the salary files and check that the global guidelines and budget have been dully followed.
- Maintain updated information of MD’s salary and benefits worldwide, reach out to local HR and/or MD whenever some information is unclear.
- Be in constant contact with the Regional and Local HR network, providing appropriate communication, clearing doubts, providing tools and guiding them through the Comp&Ben processes, ensuring consistency across the organization.
- Support the execution of the quality checks on the information reported to Geneva by the agencies.

- Ethical and discrete, able to handle highly confidential information with extreme confidentiality.
- Able to deal with multiple stakeholders and in a multitasking environment.
- Critical thinker, attentive to spot possible compliance flaws and/or detect unreliable info.
- Flexibility to adapt and navigate different needs of the different areas/stakeholders.
- Team player, empathetic, able to work in partnership with the global HR community and Managing Directors.
- Able to coordinate implementation of projects end-to-end, ensuring deadlines are respected and rules are followed despite not being the manager of the people involved.
- Based in Geneva.

- EU citizenship or valid Swiss work permit is required.
