The Head of Global Client Services will play a pivotal role in leading and developing a global client service team that supports our four sales regions (Switzerland, EMEA, APAC, and Americas) as well as our Investment Boutiques. This is a new role focused on ensuring seamless and superior service delivery across the globe while standardizing and enhancing internal processes.
Strategic Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead the Global Client Services team, covering all regions and investment boutiques.
- Drive a global service strategy, ensuring consistency in service standards and delivery across regions, while allowing for regional customization based on market needs.
- Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership and collaborate with Sales, Product, Investments, and other key stakeholders to ensure alignment in client servicing objectives and initiatives.
- Internal Process Coordination & Optimization: Collaborate with internal teams (Investment, Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, RFP, Onboarding, etc.) to streamline client servicing workflows. Standardize processes across regions to improve efficiency, while tailoring for local needs when necessary.
- Client Reporting & Data Management: Act as the first point of contact for sales teams and clients on reporting-related inquiries, including performance, asset breakdowns, risk metrics, and other investment data. Lead initiatives to enhance the accuracy, consistency, and accessibility of client reports.
- Service Quality & Consistency: Ensure high-quality service delivery, tailored to clients’ evolving needs. Oversee the implementation of standardized, simplified, and scalable service offerings that cater to all client segments. Define key performance indicators (KPIs) considering end-to-end processes.
- Internal Stakeholder Management & Cross-Departmental Communication: Build strong relationships across all regions and departments ensure effective communication and collaboration between internal teams to meet service delivery timelines, maintain data accuracy, and uphold reporting standards.
- Stakeholder Feedback & Process Enhancement: Facilitate a feedback loop between clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders to continuously improve the client service model. Identify process gaps and risks, and develop action plans to mitigate them.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Drive ongoing initiatives to enhance internal processes and streamline communication flows between teams. Identify and implement best practices for service delivery, data management, and client reporting.
- Client Feedback & Solution Delivery: Develop and maintain a feedback mechanism for clients to ensure their needs are met proactively. Continuously evaluate and refine the firm’s client service capabilities to close gaps and manage risks.
- Project Management: Lead and contribute to global and regional projects aimed at enhancing client servicing procedures, in line with industry best practices.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in asset management or financial services, with a focus on client services, project management, and process improvement.
- Proven experience in managing global or regional teams, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality service to institutional clients.
- In-depth understanding of investment products and asset classes (Fixed Income, Equities, Multi-Asset).
- Demonstrated experience in data management, reporting, and workflow optimization within a multi-national framework.
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and geographies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of engaging at all levels of the organization.
- Proven track record in driving continuous improvement and standardizing processes across regions.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in German or other languages is a plus.
