The Systems Engineering group - consisting of circa 25 employees - is focused on the technical support and leadership of product definition, predominantly within the development of technically complex systems. The department is based within the Molecular Diagnostics division of the Molecular Systems business. The roles within the group all have a strong technical/scientific focus, such as Business Domain Analysts, Requirements Engineers, Product Definition Leaders and Lead Systems Engineers.

This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, hybrid.

Main tasks

• Requirements Engineering, requirement elicitation and checking for completeness of requirements
  
• Create effective business analyses
  
• Support the engineering team with technical issue identification and closure
  
• Support and organization of project workshops
  
• Application of complex problem-solving methodologies to technical issues identified within projects
  

Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Bachelor’s or Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of Engineering after February 2024 and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.

Furthermore you

• are Interested in developing technically complex systems
  
• like to solve problems both individually and in teams
  
• have a high degree of flexibility and proactiveness
  
• are a strong communicator, problem solver and quick thinker
  
• proficient in English required, German is an asset
  

Technical details:
The start date for the internship is March 2025. Please state your preferred start date in your application.

Part-time employment is not possible.

It is not possible to write a thesis during the internship.

The application deadline is November 11th. Interviews will take place in late November and early December.
