The Internal Value Chain (IVC) for digital solutions team acts as a linking pin across the organization to support lifecycle teams and affiliates in the commercialization of digital solutions. IVC is enabling a leading, profitable and scalable digital business with back-office effectiveness and automation throughout the lifecycle of a digital product.

This internship position is located in Rotkreuz, Switzerland, in a hybrid setup (up to 50% home office).

Key Responsibilities

• Support the IVC Commercial Analytics & Reporting Product Owner in all activities related to data products and dashboard design in collaboration with the development team:
  
  • translating business requirements into features for the development team,
    
  • data validation and report testing,
    
  • functional documentation, end user training
    
  • second level support
    
• Develop prototypes: pull data from multiple sources and create dashboards to refine business requirements and/or introduce new concept/idea
  
• ideally, you would develop a proof of concept to create additional insights by leveraging AI across the contract fulfillment end-to-end process of or serving the product lifecycle teams or affiliates.
  

Who You Are
You are enrolled or have completed your Master’s studies at a university, preferably in the field of business informatics, statistics, data science or a similar field after February 2024 and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.

Furthermore you are

• Knowledgeable on analytics technologies (must). Snowflake and Tableau and SQL skills are a must. Snowflake is ideal.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (must)
  
• Knowledgeable on innovation, customer-centric and agile methodologies
  
• Engaged team player, proactive, self-driven, customer-focused and outcome driven
  
• Plus: AI implementation skills to create additional business insights
  

Technical details:

The start date for the internship is March 2025 with a duration of 9/12 months.

Part-time employment is not possible

If required, it is possible to write a thesis during the internship.

The application deadline is November 11th. Interviews will take place in late November and early December.
