This position reports to

R&D Team Lead

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement (6 months). Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is: onsite #LI-Onsite This role is contributing to the development center in Turgi, Aargau, Switzerland. Main stakeholders are Motion division. Starting date: 1st of March We are looking for a motivated and talented intern to design a testing and evaluation framework for heavy machinery dynamic vehicle control. You will be mainly accountable for: • Design of tests for heavy machinery dynamic vehicle control • Effective evaluation of tests • Visualization of test results Join ABB for your internship and work in a team that is dedicated to creating the future of motion!

Qualifications for the role

Currently pursuing a Master degree in Mechanical/ Electrical Engineering, or similar field
You are passionate about vehicle dynamic
You are interested in modelling of dynamic mechanical systems
You have experience with Matlab/Simulink
You are at ease communicating in English, German is an advantage
Non-EU/non-EFTA citizens, please note that a certificate from your university, showing that an internship is a mandatory part of your studies, is required for the visa application
