The Position

You will join the Scientific Communications Team within Medical Affairs, which is one of the three functions that make up the Clinical Development and Medical Affairs department within Roche Diagnostic Solutions.

We are looking for an energetic and dynamic intern who can support the Scientific Communications Team with:

  • Announcements, dissemination of scientific materials via our externally facing platform
  • g Site evolution and maintenance
  • Upkeep of publication planning and tracking software
  • Organizing and hosting meetings
  • Coordinating stakeholders and vendors, all in relation to ensure the timely development of scientific publications with exciting new data from diagnostics.

From the start of your internship, you will shadow scientific communication leads and eventually progress to owning your projects.

To be successful in this role, you bring the following
:

  • Currently enrolled as a student or recently graduated (within 12 months before the start of the internship. Please indicate clearly at what date you graduated from university in your motivation letter or CV, if you have graduated already)
  • In business management, project management, biosciences-related field with a large interest in communications
  • Experience of database tools or project management tools, computer savvy (i.e. Google Suite)
  • Great communication skills; energetic and dynamic personality
  • Proactive and a process driver
  • Aptitude to identify roadblocks and troubleshoot
  • Creative and innovative thinking; ability to streamline processes, or suggest new process

The internship will take place in Rotkreuz with hybrid working in place.


Who you are

You are enrolled or have completed your Master’s/Ph D studies at a university, preferably in the field of biomedical science after February 2024 and are interested in applying your knowledge in a modern working environment as part of an internship.

Due to regulations, non-EU/non-EFTA citizens without a permit to work full-time need to provide a certificate of their university stating that an internship is mandatory and stating the length of it.

Technical details:

The start date for the internship is March 2025 with a duration of 12 months.


Part-time employment is not possible.

It is not possible to write a thesis during the internship.

The application deadline is November 11th. Interviews will take place in late November and early December.
