Position Summary:
In order to reinforce the Procurement team of our operating company Nestlé Suisse SA, we are currently looking for a Local Strategic Buyer for Technical procurement categories.
Reporting to the Strategic Sourcing Manager, your main responsibilities will be to develop, communicate and implement sourcing strategies for Technical procurement categories for all Swiss Nestlé Factories.
A Day in the Life of a Local Strategic Buyer:
- Define and implement competitive sourcing strategies at market level for categories like Capex, Maintenance and other Technical Services for all Swiss Nestlé Manufacturing facilities including infant nutrition, coffee, food, oil, confectionary and waters categories.
- Together with Above Market Procurement Organization define Global Strategy and cross functional operational implementation of different projects. Lead Supplier Relationship at local level.
- Set-up and implement an ambitious cost saving project program.
- Perform supplier market analysis, category analysis and develop TCO understanding.
- Support Nestlé on the Zero Emissions Road Map.
- Ensure compliance to Nestlé’s business principles, policies, standards and procurement policies.
What will make you successful:
- University degree in Procurement, Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in a Procurement related function.
- Proven Technical Category knowledge.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with different stakeholders across a complex organization.
- Fluency in English and French, German is a valuable asset.
