The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine promotes research and teaching in the fields of health, medicine, functional capacity and rehabilitation. Our mission is to improve health and well-being for all by creating a diverse, inclusive environment for innovative research, education and services.

The Center for Family Medicine and Community Care (Zentrum für Hausarztmedizin und Community Care- ZHAM & CC) is dedicated to advancing education and research in primary care. We emphasize the development and implementation of innovative interprofessional care models.

As of the 1 October 2024 or by agreement, we are looking for a

Ph D Student (100%)

The Ph D student will participate in projects focused on integrating new roles, such as advanced practice nurses and other professions, in primary care (for example, Pilotierung von Pflegelotsinnen oder Pflegelotsen zur Koordination von Pflegenotfällen im Kanton Zug | Age-Stiftung). The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, collecting, analysing, and disseminating study findings. These projects will primarily utilize qualitative research methods.

Your profile

Master's degree in a health-related field (e.g. Health Sciences, Health Economics, Nursing, Medicine)
Experience in applied health care is highly desirable
Proficiency in German language (C1)
Interest in qualitative and mixed-methods research methods with a willingness to enhance these skills
Strong oral and written English skills
