The opportunity
Oxyle’s Applications team plays a key role in advancing our innovative water treatment technology. The team focuses on developing and optimizing our solutions through experimental design, testing, and data analysis, driving forward our technology’s capabilities and applications.
We are seeking a highly motivated R&D Intern to join the Applications team. In this role, you will contribute to the innovation process by supporting lab experiments, analyzing results, and collaborating with internal teams to enhance our technology. This position offers a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of developing impactful solutions for water treatment.
Your key responsibilities
- Implement experiments to study the efficiency of our treatment in a variety of wastewater matrices.
- Conduct experiments to prototype various processes and assess their performance.
- Support execution of ongoing customer projects to ensure their successful completion.
- Conduct long-term treatments to assess the stability of our processes.
- Assist in design and optimization of pretreatment techniques for our customers.
- Data analysis, presentation, and reporting of technical results.
- Assist in lab organization.
What you need to bring to the role
- BSc in Environmental Science, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Material Science or Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience in working in an organized manner to conduct R&D activities in chemistry laboratories.
- Prior exposure to water treatment techniques is preferred.
- Independent, analytical, and systematic way of thinking and working.
- Team-player and impact-driven person with passion for innovation.
- Fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Have a Swiss working permit or be eligible to work in Switzerland.
- Self-motivated and proactive individual who is passionate about new technologies.
- Intrinsic motivation to shape the future of our company together actively and innovatively with us.
