We’re looking for a flexible R&D Operations Project Administrator to support our Research & Development Operations team. If you are adaptable, fluent in German, enjoy variety, have a strong customer focus, and are comfortable with digital tools, this is your chance to make a difference. You will take on diverse tasks, optimize existing work processes in R&D and act as a bridge between Research and various internal partners such as Procurement, Safety Health & Environment and Site Management to bring innovation forward. Your key responsibilities:

Assist with general administrative tasks (oversee R&D contracts, orders and services, organize meetings, events, visits, courses, publish internal reports, announcements, etc).
Contribute to the R&D Innovation Supply chain: Order chemicals, lab & office supplies, instruments; support insurance of central laboratory consumable storage to be adequately stocked with recurrent items.
Organize and schedule basic laboratory instrument and infrastructure maintenance, ensure adequate documentation.
Facilitate communication around Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) matters of global relevance for laboratories as well as support implementing local SHE systems and procedures.
Provide ICT (Information & Communication technology) support to the R&D Innovation teams to enable a smooth flow of information across the community.
Support local sample management within R&D Innovation and liaise with external service providers (contracts, sample coordination, communication, logistics).

You bring:

Deep understanding of practical aspects of working in research laboratories and offices.
Fluent in German, good command of English. Working knowledge of French is an asset. A problem solving mindset, looking for practical solutions, proactivity, attention to details, drive to challenge status quo, absolute customer focus.
