The Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance (s/bf-HSG) at the University of St.Gallen seeks to hire a Research Associate (Ph D Position).

• This position should be of particular interest to candidates interested in pursuing an academic-oriented Ph D with focus on private markets.

Candidates for this position are expected to enroll in the Ph D program in Finance at the University of St.Gallen (GPEF), with the doctoral supervisor being Prof. Dr. Tereza Tykvová. Since recently, University of St. Gallen is a member of the Swiss Finance Institute.
The candidate should fulfill the following qualifications:

• Outstanding Master's degree in economics/finance or a related field from a leading university or business school
• Strong interest in private markets
• Demonstrated suitability to work on analytical problems and solid empirical analysis skills
• Previous research experience in private markets or corporate finance is a definite plus
• First practical experience in a profession closely related to private markets is a plus
