We are looking for a Risk Manager, the candidate will be responsible for monitoring market price risks, executing derivative transactions within company limits, managing the CTRM system, reviewing key risks in new trading deals, and performing KYC processes.
Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Developing processes for coordination of market-making activities to ensure that all future position-taking is in accordance with the company strategy and policy guidelines.
- Overseeing the company’s market prices risks. Ensuring the orderly application of risk management techniques to mitigate price risks associated with the underlying activities.
- Providing resource and portfolio guidelines and limits to traders.
- Executing all derivative instruments transactions, ensuring that the respective paper trades are within the authorities and limits set withing company’s policies.
- Recommending hedging strategies and instruments to mitigate risks; engaging in execution of derivative instruments, including futures, swaps and options.
- In charge for maintaining and developing the CTRM system and evaluating new trading systems.
- In charge of reviewing the key risks, and, identifying and implementing key controls in respect of the main processes within the CTRM (e.g. deal capturing, invoicing, reporting, mark to market etc).
- Overseeing the company’s operational insurance policies, ensuring that proper coverage is in place at any time.
- Reviewing the key risks of proposed trading deals (including KYC issues, credit limit control, etc.) and timely prevention of such risks.
- Performing KYC process for KMGT including external and internal KYC requests, keeping in order archive of KYC packages in CTRM system and company’s folders.
- Participating in creating/updating company internal policies and procedures.
- Maintaining various files and records – both computerized and hard copy files.
- Performing procurement processes in accordance with his position.
Applicants must have:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, economics or related fields;
• More than 6 years of experience in risk management, preferably in commodity trading;
• Knowledge of Aspect electronic archiving system or similar software is a must
• Fluent English both written and spoken is a must
• Italian and Russian is a plus
• Work permit in Switzerland
