About the role

The Frontend core team focuses on creating, improving, and maintaining core functionalities for all teams that develop front-end applications at Sygnum.
As a senior software engineer, you will play a crucial role in enhancing Sygnum's front-end (FE) application, one of the key growth channels of the bank. You will build and maintain the technological foundation to provide an ever-growing suite of libraries for other developers in the company, explore new options to improve our development cycle, and enhance the quality of current front-end applications.

As a senior software engineer, you will:

Actively participate in developing new features and improvements by writing and reviewing high-quality and secure code.
Constantly enhance the quality and security of applications, identifying existing technical debt and making plans to repay it.
Respond to production incidents promptly and efficiently, collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and restore service continuity.
Collaborate with platform engineers to enhance CI/CD pipelines and streamline release processes.
Collaborate with designers to define proper components and create a unified UI.
Collaborate with multiple teams to reach common goals.
Nurture and guide more junior software engineers through coaching and mentoring.

What we expect

Expertise in React
Expertise in Type Script
Expertise in Lint
Working experience with pipelines and CI/CD
Working experience with FE architecture definition
Working experience with NX, Turbo repo, and Lerna
Nice to have working experience with Flagsmith, Matomo, Strapi, Storybook, and Figma
Nice to have working experience with React Query, Valtio, Jotai, and Zustand
