The opportunity

As part of our Tax Services, we offer expertise and advise on all tax issues. This knowledge enables us to optimize the business and legal structures of national and international clients. Join our unique Tax Accounting & Risk Advisory Services practice to positively impact billions of lives and unlock hidden opportunities.

Your key responsibilities

Act as central point of contact – liaise with your international clients and colleagues with respect to direct tax accounting issues
Participate as part of the Primary Team in tax audits of International Groups and single legal entities in Switzerland
Contribute with your knowledge to BEPS2.0 projects
Leading clients on established accounts, seeking process improvement opportunity in both EY and Client processes and implementing services for new client
Managing account resourcing, budget, and delivery
Developing and coaching the team involving the global EY-Shared-Service-Center structures

Skills and attributes for success

10+ years of experience in a tax accounting and/or tax audit function, ideally in an international environment
Very strong understanding of general and tax accounting principles as well as reporting concepts/principles (temporary/permanent differences, current and deferred taxes, etc.)
US GAAP and / or IFRS tax accounting technical skillset
Designing, performing, and overseeing tax audit procedures for HQ Multinationals as part of a Primary Team
Experience in transfer pricing principles
Excellent knowledge and strong experience with Excel
Great communication skills
Ability to analyze the tax accounting impacts of complex transactions
Analytical mindset with good communication skills
English mandatory, additional languages considered as a plus
