Deine Aufgaben

• You’re part of a Software Engineering Scrum team working on Order Managment & Finance topics.
• You take the lead in our team for the further training and improvment of our document interpretation ML model, as well as ensuring the model runs stable on prod.
• You’re a product-minded engineer with the ability to identify new opportunities to raise the automation rate with ML solutions.
• You’re eager to coach a team of software engineers curious to learn more about ML and actively share your knowledge.
• You stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously enhance our ML models.
• In this hybrid role, you’re also able to work on software engineering related topics with the support of the team.

Deine Fähigkeiten

• Degree in computer science or data science (ETH/UNI/FH) or equivalent professional experience.
• 3-5+ years experience working in an ML team (preferably on NLP topics).
• You know Python better than your mother language.
• You’ve had hands-on experience with ML libraries (pytorch, numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, transformers, etc) and you’ve shipped a couple of models to prod.
• Solid SQL skills and experience working with a relational databases (bonus points if you’ve already worked with Google Big Query) and knowledge in data orchestration frameworks (e.g. Airflow).
• Knowledge of object oriented programming (e.g. C#, Java) is required. You’re not shying away from getting your hands into the software backend part (.NET C#) to integrate your models in the wider software ecosystem.
• Familiarity with MLOps technologies (e.g. GCP, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, etc.).
• Identifying opportunities for improvements and implementing changes to enhance productivity and effectiveness.
• The capacity to adapt to ongoing changes in the work environment.
• Work proefficiency in English and German
