Devices and Packaging solutions are becoming an increasingly meaningful component in delivering innovative medicines to our patients. We seek an extra colleague who combines profound device and packaging expertise with technical leadership. Together we strive to bring the best possible product to a successful launch! You will work in the new product launch team within the MSAT Large Molecule Platform. This team owns the technical transfer of newly developed products from R&D to the J&J Commercial Supply Chain.
Key Responsibilities:

• Work proactively with internal and external teams to assess new technologies, support the “Test and Learn” phase, and evaluate prototypes against pre-determined performance parameters.
• Function as the Early Development Contact, partnering with R&D Teams to understand device requirements early and translate those requirements for the Supply Chain.
• Identify the required capabilities to prepare the commercial manufacturing sites for the new product pipeline.
• Lead global and local project teams completing technology transfers and act as a core team member in product development teams.
• Regularly update partners and sponsors through reports, presentations, and ad-hoc communication.

Qualifications

Education:

• Hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or science. A master’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred.

Experience and Skills:

• Proven track record to guide projects from initiation to completion with a multifunctional team in a global context.
• Energized by working towards ambitious goals and solving sophisticated problems.
• Effective communication skills and a genuine personal leadership style to successfully collaborate, contribute, and influence in diverse team environments.
• At least 10 years of solid experience in device and packaging operations, engineering, project management, or R&D, preferably in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry.

Preferred:

• Demonstrated experience with applicable regulations, including Design Control, Design Transfer, Purchasing Control, Change Control, Risk Management, Qualification, Verification, and Validation.
