Software Engineer
In our R&D group, we develop hearing solutions and services for hearing impaired people and hearing care professionals in the form of hearing instruments, accessories, web services, mobile applications and PC software. We continuously seek the edge of current technologies to go beyond.
In a multidisciplinary team of audiology experts and SW engineers, you will contribute to the further evolution of our audiological design models. These models represent the behavior of our hearing devices and SW applications during the fitting process which is required to adapt the hearing devices to the individual needs of hearing-impaired persons. You will be part of our cross-functional and international development teams in an agile development environment allowing you to demonstrate your creativity and programming skills.

Your tasks
- Optimize and extend our existing Python specification platform
- Contribute and extend the existing specification development framework, including connection to data analytics and the data lake
- Contribute to the evolution of the existing functional design and audiological models
- Closely collaborate with other teams
Your profile
- University degree in software engineering or natural science (e.g. physics, electrical engineering)
- 3+ years of experience in software engineering
- Knowledge in Python or similar language
- Experience in developing and maintaining a software framework by applying state-of-the-art best practices, e.g. architectural design pattern
- Ability to read and understand audiological specifications provided in MATLAB
- Flexible, creative and solution-oriented and systematic thinking with high-quality awareness
- Open minded, very good communication skills and fluent in written and spoken English, fluency in German is a plus and able to work in a distributed and agile collaboration
