Student Support – Private Equity Venture Capital team

The Venture Capital team at LGT Capital Partners focuses on Series B+ co-investments alongside top tier European GPs as well as fund investments and buying secondary positions in companies and funds from other GPs/LPs.

Proposing new usage of internal and external data for the VC investment process and presenting the ideas to the Partners on the VC investment team;

Developing scripts and parts of the codebase mainly in Python, SQL and Power BI (both back-end and front-end parts of the use cases);

Maintaining of the current code base.

Pursuing a Bachelor or Master degree in quantitative finance, data science, computer science or similar subject;
-
Basic knowledge of data analytics and machine learning is a plus;

Excellent English writing and communication skill;
-
Strong interest in enhancing financial acumen and broadening knowledge of venture capital;

Good organizational skills and a pro-active team-player (successful students will be given a lot of independence and flexibility).
- Home Office: after the successful introduction period you will have the option to work a maximum of 40% of your time from home in Switzerland. Additionally you get a Home Office allowance;
