ORGANIZATIONAL UNIT
The Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB) fulfills the objectives of the Union relating to telecommunication standardization, by providing secretariat support to groups studying technical, operating and tariff questions and facilitating the adoption of Recommendations in these areas with a view to standardizing telecommunications and information technology on a global basis. In order to achieve these objectives, the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau works in accordance with the instructions of the World Telecommunication Standardization Assemblies (WTSA), Telecommunication Standardization Study Groups and the Telecommunication Standardization Advisory Group. TSB, headed by an elected Director, provides the technical, administrative and logistic support for the assemblies and for the meetings of the groups mentioned.
Within the Telecommunication Standardization Bureau (TSB), the Telecommunication Standardization Policy Department (TSP) is responsible for the policies guiding ITU-T and the maintenance of its relevant position in the global standardization arena. It oversees the implementation of the WTSA Action Plan, and is responsible for identifying emerging technologies and analysing technology trends in order to advise membership on emerging standardization developments. The Department is also responsible for the bureau's communication, human resources, finance, membership functions, academic initiatives and the ITU Journal, a periodical dedicated to research topics in telecommunication and ICTs.
AI for Good, an initiative of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), is at the forefront of using artificial intelligence to address global challenges, from climate action to health and education. By bringing together leading innovators, policymakers, and researchers, AI for Good aims to leverage AI to achieve the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Content Intern to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production and editing, contributing to high-impact projects that showcase the potential of AI for social good.
The Video Content Intern will assist the AI for Good team in producing engaging video content that promotes our initiatives and events, including:
Experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, i Movie, Lumen5, or other relevant software.
Passion for video production and storytelling through visual media.
Demonstrates a keen interest in artificial intelligence and its potential to drive positive societal impact.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Creative thinker with a proactive attitude, eager to learn new skills and bring fresh ideas to video content efforts.
Thrives in a dynamic, multicultural, and international work environment.
Education: Currently pursuing or has recently completed studies in marketing, communication, business administration, international relations, or a related field.
Experience: No work experience required.
Languages: English at advanced level. Working knowledge of another UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian and Spanish), with excellent knowledge of written and spoken French being an asset.
Please note that a non-remunerated Internship position at ITU does not carry the same conditions of employment as a Short-term or a Fixed-term position. Mandatory Medical Insurance, travel expenses, accommodation and living expenses are the responsibility of the interns or sponsoring institutions.

TERMS OF REFERENCE
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Content Intern to join our dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in video production and editing, contributing to high-impact projects that showcase the potential of AI for social good.
The Video Content Intern will assist the AI for Good team in producing engaging video content that promotes our initiatives and events, including:
- Video Production: Assist in filming, editing, and producing video materials that highlight AI for Good activities, showcase innovative AI technologies, and cover events like the AI for Good Global Summit 2025.
- Content Development: Support the creation of creative video concepts and scripts that align with communication strategies and enhance AI for Good’s digital presence. This includes promotional videos, highlight reels, interviews, and short-form content for social media.
- Editing and Post-Production: Use video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, i Movie, Lumen5, Canva, or other relevant software to edit and finalize video content, ensuring high quality and brand consistency.
- Digital Strategy Support: Collaborate with the communication team to develop video content strategies that increase engagement across various digital platforms. Assist in optimizing video content for platforms such as social media, websites, and newsletters.
- Administrative and Logistical Support: Provide support in organizing video shoots, coordinating with speakers and team members, and managing video files and archives.
COMPETENCIES
Experience with video editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, i Movie, Lumen5, or other relevant software.
Passion for video production and storytelling through visual media.
