Purpose of Role
Grow the brand equity in Taiwan through the creation of brand strategy and brand plans based on consumer, customer and shopper insights, and to drive Recruitment/Re-recruitment – both from a customer and consumer perspective that making our brands the most talked about across the market as well as resulting in success at the point of purchase.
Accountabilities
- Work with line manager to development of Taiwan White Spirits and Strategic Malts’ annual Marketing Plan
- Hold accountability for marketing activities after MBP (Marketing Business Plan) aligned, localize and adapt global growth drivers, or develop new local growth drivers as required
- Accelerates the growth of the brand in Japan through exciting, dynamic growth drivers aimed at target audience
- Drive ATL and BTL comms strategy in building brand awareness and talkability through creative and innovative ideas to ensure brand is at the front of targeted consumer culture
- Build strong collaborative relationships with commercial team and Kirin for growth opportunities and build strong commercial plans that win with customers, consumers and shoppers.
- Lead brand planning to build long term growth and conceptualisation to unlock new opportunities
- Work closely with global and regional innovation team to ensure innovation agenda and pipeline best fit the brand and business growth needs
- Collect, compile, verify, and analyze 1) data on market trends, consumer cultural trends, and competitor activity to identify market opportunities and challenges and 2) data on product performance and customer/consumer feedback to meet customer/consumer needs
- Responsible for budget control and business targets to deliver brand growth for short and long term
Qualifications and Experience Required
- 4+ years’ experience in Marketing in FMCG/Cars/Watch/Luxury products company; a history of working across media, digital, experiential, PR, culture, VIP management is more than welcomed
- Be fluent in English and Mandarin speaking and writing is a requirement
- Experience in strategic penetration to consumer & shopper insight, category trend and competition to develop marketing strategy and execution plan that unlocks growth opportunities
- Excel in various source of data analysis to get solid knowledge of consumers’ social behaviour and insight which could adapt and optimized the performance.
- Holistic abilities and experience at leading credible global brand with large scale of A&P investment on multiple consumers facing media and through- the- line activities as well as a track record of delivering ground-breaking business results
- Successful management of senior partners, resulting in strong and positive outcomes.
- Experience at working with global collaborators to get alignment and collaborate for strategy development and execution plans
- Proven brilliant execution to high standards across various pillars of brand building.
- Strong commercial and numerical savvy with attention to detail
