About the job:

Key Responsibilities

  • To mainly act as a maker in Operations covering Global Markets, GTB and Corporate transactions.
  • To monitor and control transactions to ensure all daily transactions are promptly processed and no delay of settlement/payment.
  • To review and manage the business required documentation to ensure bank and client’s interest are well protected, following internal and regulatory requirements, including AML and Sanction policies.
  • To perform TWD and FCY inward and outward remittances.
  • To arrange appropriate funding and coordinate with trader to ensure smooth settlement without any funding issues.
  • To perform daily nostro reconciliations and ensure all breaks are investigated and promptly resolved.
  • To prepare and provide transaction confirmations and statements to clients.
  • To deal with counterparty and client queries for all transaction matter.
  • To prepare and submit daily and monthly regulatory reports to CBC, JCIC, OTC, TDCC, etc.
  • To prepare and submit daily and monthly internal monitoring reports.
  • To monitor internal and regulatory limits to ensure no breach.
  • To support other Operations tasks as assigned by team leader and/or manager.

Qualification & Experience
  • University graduate with major in business/finance/accounting
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Taiwan banking industry

Knowledge & Skills
  • Knowledge in banking products including Global Markets products such as FX spot, NDF and swaps, GTB and Corporate products including loan, deposit and trade finance products such as receivable financing, LC and guarantees.
  • Strong risk control ability to avoid/minimize operational risk.
  • Familiar with regulatory requirements (regulatory ratios/limits, regulatory reporting and etc.)
  • PC literacy (Microsoft Office including word, excel and power point)
  • Fluency in written and spoken English & Mandarin
