Role Overview

• Coupang Pay Seller Payments Team is committed to transforming how sellers manage their financial liquidity by offering innovative financing products. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join us in this exciting journey to provide best-in-class solutions that enable sellers to thrive in a competitive marketplace.
• The Payment Wallet team at Coupang Pay is seeking an experienced Product Manager to oversee and improve aspects of customer trust, compliance, system improvements and enabling a best-in-class payments experience for end-users. The Payment Wallet team plays a critical role in shaping the customer and shopper experience on Coupang and is highly cross-functional, collaborating with teams like Operations, Legal, Accounting, Finance, Coupang Checkout and many more.In this Senior Product Manager role, you will be responsible for setting and owning key performance indicators that support the team's overall goals and objectives. You will design algorithms, systems, and metrics to effectively track and evaluate the adoption, performance, and progress of products. You will work closely with regulators, customers and internal stakeholders to understand their needs and collaborate with technical teams to develop and implement systemic solutions within the Payment systems.

What You Will Do

• Own the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and KPIs for one or more areas within Fintech system
• Lead the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch, including defining product requirements, identifying use cases, and establishing success metrics.
• Identify new opportunities to enhance key business metrics
• Drive new product development with clear objectives and timelines, fostering collaboration across teams and employing rigorous project management methodologies.
• Inspire the team with your product vision, collaborating cross-functionally to realize it.

Basic Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience, with a track record of developing and executing a compelling product vision
• Previous experience in Fintech or compliance
• Leadership experience with a history of successfully launching and sustaining products and programs
• An analytical mindset suited to a fast-paced, data-driven, highly dynamic start-up like environment and the capability to translate ambiguous problems into insights, scoped features, and projects
• Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate effectively and influence others
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with both technical and business stakeholders
• Demonstrated ability to understand technical challenges and make educated trade-offs between time, resources, and business needs
• Track record of mentoring and developing more junior team members into future company leaders
• A bias for action and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get things done.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master degree in a quantitative field (business, engineering, statistics) or equivalent experience
• A willingness to adapt and find creative solutions in a constantly changing environment.
• Experience developing and launching software or applications that provide an end-to-end experience in a large, complex domain
• Experience tackling ambiguous business and operational challenges, including the ability to model decision problems effectively, at the right level of abstraction
• Experience working in international environments and globally distributed teams
• Fluency in both English and Chinese preferred, but not required
• AB testing experience is a plus
