Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech.? Vishay General Semiconductor Taiwan, Ltd. is currently seeking applicants for a EHS Chief Engineer.

You will be responsible for risk assessment of EHS scopes, provide suggestions, plans, tracking and consolidated reports by cooperating with related departments to ensure the compliance with government regulations, company's policy and procedures, and customers’ requirements. You will also be supporting the management of EHS SPI, toxic and high concern substances and environmental related tasks in response to EHS portion of ESG/RBA requirements.

What you will be doing:

• To develop and implement management systems of risk reduction, recycling, waste minimization, emergency response, process safety, contractor safety, industrial hygiene, chemical and waste management, health examination management, incident investigation and other EHS programs in compliance with EHS & RBA requirements
  
• To generate EHS report/Regional EHS report, keep track of insurance survey, government requirement, customer requirement, permit application status and keep updated of presentation materials, training materials and meeting records
  
• To communicate with government agency, third party, customers, vendors and help resolve employee’s complaint
  
• To review and evaluate ECN/VE, waste contract & permits, regulation compliance, health examination results, accident investigation report, risk assessment, EHS internal audit results and communication report
  
• To monitor and manage EHS/loss prevention and security
  
• To conduct and host EHS related training, EMS meetings, labor safety & health committee meeting, and seminar/training for related EHS laws & regulation
  

What you will bring along:

• Bachelor's degree or above
  
• Minimum 12 years of EHS experience in semiconductor or electronics industry
  
• Professional knowledge in environmental pollution controlling, safety and risk management
  
• EHS related licenses are required
