Responsibilities
- Major on LCMS product service support and other general product in the future
- LCMS team people management
- Provide customer happiness through technical service, installation, operation, training, and repair of speciality equipment.
- Undertake product installation on client premises.
- Provide training and technical advice on instrument use, both in person and by phone.
- Investigate difficulties and tackle faults arising from operation or utilization.
- Resolve problems or suggest solutions or arrange for repairs to be made.
- Provide an important link between customers and Sales and Marketing.
- Act as a liaison with factory technicians to report and correct faults.
- Supervise repairs in terms of the organization’s service / warranty cover and making suggestions as to product improvements.
- Schedule and carry out planned maintenance calls and perform regular customer visits.
- Make recommendations about spare part needs and assisting with monitoring equipment.
How will you get here?
Education
- Bachelor/Master of Science in Chemistry/Biochemistry, Engineering, or equivalent background.
- 8 years+ Field Service Engineering experience or LCMS user experience
- With people management preferred.
- Experience from Pharmaceutical industry or with Research background preferred.
- Field Application Service background welcome
- LCMS experiences crucial
- Proficient in written and verbal communication skills both in Chinese and English
- Ability to be coordinate own work efficiently, productively, and independently
- Detail oriented and ability to handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work on a range of tasks as part of ongoing projects, and to make sound decisions in order to meet deadlines for the completion of projects or activities
- Interpersonal skills suitable for a people-oriented job, requiring interactions with many people both inside and outside the organization
- Self-motivated and proactive in technical and support approach.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook)
- Possession of a valid Driving License is essential.
- Candidates living in Central and Southern Taiwan are encouraged to apply.
- Travelling is required in this role.
