Position Summary
This position is within Arlo Operations department and based in Taiwan. The key responsibilities include managing Arlo’s ISO 9001 certification and corporate Business Management System (BMS), establishing and maintaining product/process quality data analytics, and working internally with Arlo teams and externally with customers and suppliers to ensure customer and applicable compliance requirements are met and any quality issue is addressed in a timely manner to customers’ satisfaction.

Position Summary

Essential Responsibilities
Business Management System & Business Analytics
- Manage Arlo’s BMS to meet Arlo’s business and ISO 9001 requirements.Â
- Maintain external ISO 9001 certification and manage the interface with our process owners, external auditor, and registrar.

Implement and manage Arlo’s internal audit program, including but not limited to:
- developing internal audit plan,
- scheduling, performing and reporting internal audits,
- managing internal audit process and reporting, and
- assisting internal auditor team.
- Manage Arlo’s Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) process and drive effective resolution of issues in a timely manner.
- Work with process owners to establish, document, implement, and improve business processes to support the BMS. Â Lead process improvement wherever needed.
- Prepare and conduct regular BMS and ISO 9001 awareness training to help employees understand their roles and responsibilities in supporting the BMS.Â
- Collect, analyze and report on various business and operations metrics.
- Establish and implement measurements to monitor Arlo’s business processes, evaluate risks and effectiveness, and drive process improvements.
- Understand Arlo factory QA process, RMA return process, RGM test process, and product failure modes and monitor field performance, refurb performance, and operations performance through key metrics to assist in product and process improvement.
- Conduct and report in-market product inspection and testing and follow up with internal teams and suppliers for findings and opportunities for improvement.Â
- Assist customer and supplier audits to fulfill applicable compliance requirements.
- Assist customer complaints handling, including problem clarification, root cause analysis, countermeasure implementation, and responses to customers.Â
- Participate in the failure analysis investigations with customers, internal Arlo teams, and suppliers and drive timely resolutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Industry Engineering, Mathematics/Statistics, or related degree. Advanced degree a plus.
- 5-8 years of experience working with certification bodies, ODM/CM, and retailers (Amazon, Best Buy, etc.) in a quality engineering role.
- Experience in leading ISO 9001 audits internally and externally.Â
- Experience with data analytics or data mining tools such as Tableau, OBIEE, Crystal reports or equivalent including creating and publishing reports.
- Experience with PLM software like Agile or Arena.
- Demonstrate skills in preventive quality methods, statistical data analysis, critical thinking, structured problem solving (8D), the use of metrics to identify opportunities, and business process improvement.
- Must be capable of effectively interfacing at all levels of an organization, including both internally in Arlo and externally with customers.
- Must have strong communication skills (written and oral) and the ability to travel to supplier and customer sites (domestically and internationally) for direct interactions.
- Must exhibit self-motivation, demonstrate sense of urgency and be capable of successfully multi-tasking in a high pressure, fast-paced environment.
